Warrington fined after squad announcement infringement

Challenge Cup winners Warrington have been fined for breaking the rules over squad announcements ahead of their win over Hull, # 2,000.
The Wolves played England full-back Stefan Ratchford in the game in Bolton in July although not placing him inside their initial 19-man squad and that he went on to kick three goals at a 22-14 victory.
After winger Josh Charnley pulled out with a knee injury, ratchford, that was not due to return from a torn muscle for the following 3 weeks, was drafted in at short notice.
According to the functional principles of the Rugby Football League, changes can be made by clubs to the squads they announce in the event of injury or other outstanding circumstances
Applications will need to be created once they are aware there is a shift essential and have to be supported by an official notification to the RFL.
The RFL states Warrington, who proceeded to beat St Helens at the final at Wembley accept that they neglected to notify them within guidelines and the timeframes set out of the alterations.
The choice to present squad announcements was created following the 2004 gambling scandal in which St Helens gamers Sean Long and Martin Gleeson backed their club to shed to Bradford from the understanding that their trainer would subject a team.
No remark has been made by warrington.
